Cosm's first forthcoming venue will house its proprietary, best-in-class technology. Guests will directly experience immersive content across various programming categories, including live sports and entertainment, experiential events, immersive art, music, and more.


Establish and maintain high customer service standards for staff, vendors, and guests.

Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Technology, and Food and Beverage teams to create innovative offerings that drive incremental revenue growth and profitability

Oversee food and beverage and merchandise performance and strategies (point of sale ratio, variety, etc.)

Responsible for the hiring, training, and development of staff

Promote and establish a "Sales Team" to successfully execute all rentals in the venue.

Coordinates day of event activities

Excellent working knowledge of Health & Safety

Understand and adhere to Alcoholic Beverage Commission regulations

Ensures that employees' performance is monitored and reviewed accordingly

Work closely with Grandscape Management to maintain a close partnership with Retail District

Work closely with critical civic and governmental departments, as well as interact with the community in general

This position typically supervises a number of exempt and non-exempt positions

Day-to-day management of all venue vendors/subcontractors – HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Cleaning, Security, Trash/Recycling, Food Supply - local and National

Responsible for meeting staffing levels and budget targets for each event

Work with all other departments to help fulfill needed requirements, including Marketing, HR, IT, and Security

Available for overtime and weekends as the schedule varies depending on site operational needs; flexibility required.

Must be able to work during a live production, with loud noise levels and busy environments (non-office environment)

Ability to maneuver around an entertainment venue and walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks. Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment

Comfortable lifting heavy objects up to 25 lbs


Minimum seven years experience as a general manager or operations director in a hospitality-related business

Must have an extensive background in event sales, promotion, and operations

Ability to perform all job duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requires excellent communication skills, both verbally and written

Must have expertise in profitability analysis and budgeting

Exhibits problem-solving solid skills in long-term and immediate situations
